Sooraj-Aathiya's Hero to open on Valentine's Day?

Nikhil Advani's remake of Hero just got more romantic. And with reason! Producer Salman Khan and director Nikhil Advani want to release their love story introducing Suniel Shetty's daughter and Aditya Pancholi - Zarina Wahab's son on Valentine's day. To add to the romance quotient, the unit of Nikhil Advani's Hero took off to the virgin locales of Romania for eight days to shoot an ultra-romantic song.

 

Says a source from the core crew, "Nikhil wanted to originally shoot the song in Paris. But of late, there has been too much of Paris in Bollywood. Queen was shot there and we hear Sai Kabir is shooting his next film there. So the novelty value is lost. The location where the song was shot in Romania has never been seen in any film from any part of the world."

Sooraj-Aathiya's Hero to open on Valentine's Day?

 

Only the film's climax which is to be shot in Mumbai, remains to be shot. Says the source, "For the climax Nikhil Advani wants Sooraj Pancholi to tone up his physique for a lengthy bloodied fight."

 

Though the official release date is yet to be announced, Hero is now being readied for release on February 13, to coincide with Valentine's Day 2015.

 

Says a source, "Nikhil Advani and Salman Khan feel the chemistry between Sooraj and Aathiya is so articulate that Hero would be the best Valentine's Day romantic film. Also, the two releases scheduled for the Valentine week so far are not ideally romantic films. One is Dibakar Banerjee's Detective Byomkesh Bakshi which is not a romantic film at all. The other is debutant director Vikramjit Singh's dark thriller Roy starring Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez with Ranbir Kapoor in a guest appearance. So there is really no competition for Hero for Valentine's Day."
