Shemaroo to release 3D animation film on Ganesh festival
Rumour : It is heard that you've completed the shooting of a film, starring Manisha Koirala and newcomer Ranvir Shorey, in a record period of 25 days. We are told that the entire film, budgeted at Rs. 65-70 lacs, was shot on a set erected at Powai. Could you verify the news and elaborate on it?
Shashilal Nair : I have completed the shooting of the film in 16 days, not 25 days. The project happened quite unexpectedly. I wanted to set a precedent and challenge my ability to do so. It worked out exactly the way I had planned it. It's a hard-hitting film and it has been made on a shoe-string budget, but I would not like to reveal more at this stage.
