Sarhad Paar- Dash of Patriotism:

Studio No.11 at Filmcity Studios was abuzz with activity on Feb 20. A landmark film was about to be launched. And as the clock struck one, Harish Thawani came on stage and broke the auspicious coconut, Mahesh Bhatt started directing the mahurat shot, Yash Johar switched on the camera and Ravi Chopra gave the mahurat clap. The cast came on stage, lit lamps, said lines, greeted the audience and wished luck to each other. Nimbus Motion Pictures' patriotic saga 'Sarhad Paar' had rolled. The sensitive film, based on Punjab terrorism, is directed by the talented Raman Kumar (who returns to his first love, film-making, after a long and extremely successful innings on television). 'Sarhad Paar' stars Sanjay Dutt, Tabu, Mahima Chaudhary and Chandrachur Singh in lead roles. Produced by Harish Thawani and Akash Khurana, it is written by Robin Bhatt and Akash Khurana, based on a story by Vijay Tandon. Cinematography is by Manmohan Singh, sound by Jagmohan Anand and music by Anand Raaj Anand. All the best to this impressive team. May it cross many sarhads.
