The International Indian Film Academy [I.I.F.A.] announced the I.I.F.A. Foundation Celebrity Football Match, to be held on May 21 from 6 p.m. [Singapore time] at the Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.
The announcement was made by the captains of the two teams, Sanjay Dutt and Anil Kapoor, at a private gathering in Mumbai on Friday night [May 14].
The match is the key highlight of the Singapore I.I.F.A. Weekend celebrations, to be held from March 20 - 22, which will culminate with the Samsung I.I.F.A. Awards ceremony.
The I.I.F.A. Foundation Celebrity Football Match, conceptualized by Wizcraft International Entertainment, will see an array of Indian stars like Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Rahul Khanna, Zayed Khan, Fardeen Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Saif Ali Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Shahid Kapur, Ajay Devgan and Australian cricketers Brett Lee and Shane Lee.
Besides stalwarts from Indian cinema, viewers will also get an opportunity to see eminent local sportsmen, Fandi Ahmad [called Pele of Singapore football] and Sundaram Mooty in action.
The tickets for the match are available through Sistic from April 30.
