Even though the films in which Sachiin Joshi was the lead may not have created ripples, his decision to buy the rights of the musical smash hit Aashiqui 2 for a Telugu remake and also star as the lead, surely has shaken things up.

Sachiin who was in search of a heroine was given a choice to choose Tamannah as his lead girl for the film but the actor wasn't in favour of this decision since he believed that her stardom and popularity may work against the film. Talking about it, Sachin said, "Tamannah is a fabulous Telugu actress and a popular one and would love to have her in the film but this film demands a fresh face, hence we are looking for a new girl in the film." However, having said that, he asked the director to take the final call.

 

Also, this South remake is said to have a happy ending unlike its Bollywood counterpart.
