Non-bailable warrant issued against Mamta Kulkarni:

A local court on Wednesday issued a non-bailable warrant against film actress Mamta Kulkarni after she failed to appear before the court in an obscenity case. The actress had been named as one of the accused in the case filed by vigilance cell in 1994 for posing semi-nude on the cover of Star Dust, a film magazine published by the Magna group of publications The actress had failed to communicate the reasons for her absence. The case attracted media attention after the actress faced obscenity charges for posing semi-nude in the English & Gujarati issue of the magazine in 1993 (PTI)
