Meera gets a voice over!

Pakistani actress Meera who makes her Bollywood debut with Nazar has not given her 100% to the filmwell don't jump to conclusions just yet. The story is that the actress has not used her voice in the film because of her nasal twang and a typical Pakistani Punjabi accent that wouldn't have suited the character she plays in the film, a modern pop singer. Director Soni Razdan had to rope in dubbing artist Malvika Shivpuri. However, Malvika was instructed to imitate Meera's voice and blend it with the modernity of her character in the film because Bhatt's like that certain something about Meera's original voice. The filmmakers are confident about Meera's performance and feel that even if her voice will not be heard her performance will speak for itself!
