Karan Johar gets special invite for Olympics 2012
Karan Johar has received a special invitation for the Olympics 2012 to be held in London from July 27 to August 12. Karan, who is the official ambassador for Visit Britain, received an invitation from the British Tourist Authority.

Karan is really excited to witness such a grand event from such close quarters. He will be joining 506 other dignitaries at the opening ceremony and will be seated in a special reserved box.

The filmmaker, who is busy with the shoot of Student Of The Year, will halt the shoot of his film for this once-in-a-life-time opportunity. Karan will leave on July 26 for London and will be back in a couple of days to re-start shooting.
Apart from KJo, the other Indian to receive an official invitation is Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
