Jag Mundhra's Asst. Turns Independent:

After assisting Jagmohan Mundhra for half-a-dozen films like KAMLA, MONSOON and BAWANDAR, besides being associated with Dev Benegal in SPLIT WIDE OPEN, assistant director Rajesh K. Rathi has turned independent director. Producer Ashok K. Kotwani, who had launched Govinda's nephew Krishna in YEH KAISI MOHABBAT last year, has signed Rathi to script and direct his next venture, titled HIS WIFE IS BETTER, an English film. A one-schedule film, the film will be shot in Mumbai in sync sound from November onwards. The cast of this venture is under finalisation.
