Film stars participate in the run for Safety week:
On Sunday 24th December, a galaxy of film stars descended on the suburbs of Bombay for the Crime Prevention Awareness week organized by the Mumbai police. The galaxy of film stars included Yash Chopra, Shahrukh Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Shamita Shetty, Sonali Bendre, Aftaab Shivdasani, Deepak Tijori & Dara Singh. At 7:45 am in the morning, Police Commisioner M.N Singh fired his gun, which signaled the start of the race known as 'Run for the Safety of Mumbai'. The race started from NCPA. It was a perfect example of film stars showing their love for the city.
