'Dobara' premiere confirmed in Pakistan
Anu Ranjan, the executive producer of DOBARA, has returned after a successful visit to Pakistan. She was accorded a warm welcome by the who's who of Pakistan's top-notch strata, whether in the government, cinema and TV industry or in general.
Anu met Pakistan Prime Minister Chaudhary Shujaat Hussain, I. & B. Minister Sheikh Rasheed, Minister for Culture, Sports & Tourism Rais Munir Ahmed, Minister for Religious Affairs Ejaz-Ul-Haq and senior government officials.
All of them were in sync with her ideas that it is high time the borders of art, particularly in cinema and television, are merged between the two nations. All this paved the way for a premiere of DOBARA in Pakistan, to be held shortly along with a charity dinner - the proceeds of which would go to a charitable cause.
Anu also had extensive talks with the MD of PTV and CEOs of ARY, GEO and Indus Television, the premier channels.
