Bodyguard breaks pre-release buzz records

According to Ormax Media, Salman Khan's Bodyguard has created new pre-release Buzz and Reach records at a Week (-2) stage, i.e., two weeks before the film's release, on their film awareness tracking tool Cinematix.

 

The film has a Buzz of 71% and a Reach of 99% at this stage. Since its inception in May 2010, no other film has touched these scores at a Week (-2) stage on Cinematix. Buzz is defined as the % of audiences aware of the film at an unaided level, while Reach is defined as the % of audiences aware of the film at an unaided or aided level.

At this same stage Salman's last two films - Dabangg & Ready - had comparatively lower Buzz (50% & 44%), and Reach (88% & 74%) levels. The box office success of these two films however has helped build a strong equity for Salman Khan and his films.
