2005 is a crucial year for Suneel Darshan. The film-maker will have three releases this year; one directed by him and two produced and directed by him. The first film to hit the screens this year is MERE JEEVAN SAATHI, which is slated for a June 24 release. With MERE JEEVAN SAATHI now getting shifted to June, BARSAAT [Bobby, Bipasha, Priyanka], which was slated for a June 24 release, has now been shifted to August 5. I want to have a sufficient gap between two films, Suneel informs me. Incidentally, the music of BARSAAT will be launched in June. The third release, DOSTI, is scheduled for a November 4 release. There are rumors that the film, starring Akshay Kumar and Bobby Deol, is inspired by Hrishikesh Mukherjee's classic ANAND [Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan]. People love to speculate. Someone recently asked me whether DOSTI is inspired by ISHQ [Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgan]. It's ridiculous, he laughs aloud, It's neither ANAND nor ISHQ.
