Amisha Patel features in PETA ad

Amisha Patel is the latest Bollywood celebrity to join the league of personalities who have raised their voice to promote prevention of cruelty against animals. Amisha features in the latest ad for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) that focuses attention on the sad plight of animals in zoo. Ace photographer Ashok Salian and acclaimed dress designer Anna Singh have generously donated their services for the ad. Animals in zoos are robbed of their most precious possessions - dignity, freedom and independence. Let's fight for their freedom, says Amisha. The ad is being released in nine languages. Prior to this prominent celebrities like Shilpa Shetty and Rahul Dev have helped PETA to spotlight cruelty to animals used in circuses. Also Hollywood celebrities like Alec Baldwin, Bea Arthur, Kim Basinger, Richard Pryor, Goldie Hawn and Rue McClanahan have promoted PETA campaigns.
