Amisha assaulted on the sets of Suno Sasurji:

Amisha Patel suffered minor injuries after being assaulted by a group of three people on the sets of Suno Sasurji at the NRI colony, Nerul. The trio have also been charged with destroying the equipment on the sets. At the time of shooting, the film unit had blocked the access to the colony gate. This infuriated the trio and they started a quarrel with the director Vimal Kumar. When Vimal requested them to use the second gate, they demanded access from the first gate. When their demand was turned down, they barged into Amisha's make-up room and assaulted her and later damaged her car. Amisha sustained minor injuries and has been admitted to Lilavati hospital. She is also down with food poisoning. We hope that Amisha gets well soon and resumes her shooting. (At the time of publishing this report, Amisha was reported to have been discharged from the hospital.)
