Amar Upadhya to star in Aroona Irani's directorial venture:

Amar (Mihir) Upadhyaya is likely to head the cast of Aroona Iranis directorial debut. Its a mature love story. I am still working on the subject, she says. But is she contemplating signing Amar Upadhyaya for the role? Yes, Ive signed him for the film. He is very popular with the family audience after KYO KII SAAS BHI KABHI BAHU THI and has an innocent face that gels well with the character in my film, she adds. Meanwhile, Aroona is confident that her latest venture YEH DIL AASHIQANA, starring Karan Nath and Jeevidha in the lead, will hit the bulls eye. Its a love story, spun around a hijack drama. Its a sheer coincidence; we had not planned it that way, she informs. Incidentally, Aroona, who has always been a part of brother Indra Kumars films, will not feature in his new flick RISHTE. He doesnt have a role for me, she states with a smile, adding, I will definitely work with him if he has a role thats better than BETA.
