More on Akshay! It's a known fact that once an actor-director combination clicks, almost everyone wants to cash in by getting them together for fresh projects. But post-HERA PHERI, Akshay and director Priyadarshan haven't worked with each other, although the director continues to work with the other two HERA PHERI stars -- Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. "There's no particular reason as such," Akki tells us, adding in the same breath, "But I am looking forward to working with him." However, the actor has decided to get choosy about the projects he intends signing these days. "I want to work only in performance-oriented films. I want viewers to remember my work, which is why I have cut down my acting assignments," he divulges. That's true, for Akshay's forthcoming films sure seem impressive: AJNABEE (Abbas-Mustan), HAAN... MAINE BHI PYAR KIYA (Dharmesh Darshan), AWARA PAGAL DEEWANA (Vikram Bhatt) and ALL THE BEST (Vipul Shah).
