Akbar Khan announces Rs.50 crores project on Taj Mahal:

Writer-producer-director Akbar Khan has announced TAJ MAHAL-AN ETERNAL LOVE STORY, which will be made under the banner of Mashreq Communications Private Limited. The film will go on the floors with a start-to-finish six-month schedule in Jodhpur, wherein twenty sets are being erected, and also at various locations of Agra and Uzbekistan. The film has music by Naushad and background score by Yanni. The dubbed English version of the film will not feature songs. The film has been co-written by South African freedom fighter Fatima Meer, who has earlier penned Nelson Mandela's biography 'Higher Than Hope'. The film has an estimated budget of Rs. 50 crores.
