The weekend was below average, while weekdays remained steady on the lower side. The film has found appreciation, but that hasn't translated in its business. Ideally, the film should've had a Rs. 35 cr. + Week 1, despite a slow start. The film has cost approx. Rs. 60 cr. to UTV, of which Rs. 25 cr. has been recovered from the sale of Satellite and Music Rights. The balance amount [Rs. 35 cr.] has to be recovered from India and Overseas theatrical [also Home Video], which now seems remote since the film hasn't collected the desired numbers in India and also Overseas. The second week opening [Friday] is also on the lower side. Ideally, the total costs of a film that caters to a niche audience [metros basically] shouldn't have exceeded Rs. 35 cr. to Rs. 40 cr. for it to sail safe.
