Reflecting on the overwhelming response to Rashmika’s bridal appearance, Tanvi admitted she hadn’t anticipated the scale of appreciation. “Honestly, I didn’t think it would go so viral. When we discussed the look— We’ve done so many glam, OTT looks before. But she wanted to keep it super clean. I was like, “It’s your wedding day—don’t you want to add kohl?” But she was very clear. She wanted to stay true to how she looks. I didn’t expect it to get so much appreciation.”

The decision to embrace minimalism turned out to be a defining element. “I was taken aback. Then she said, “See, I told you—keeping it minimal helps.” She has beautiful eyes, so I kept it minimal and let her eyes do the talking. That’s what really got captured in the photographs. I enjoyed creating all her looks.”

According to Tanvi, Rashmika had a clear vision from the start, even amid a demanding schedule. “She had a clear vision. Working with her was very different from what we usually do. It was hectic—back-to-back events, very little sleep—but she was so happy. That happiness translated into everything—hair, makeup, styling. She was radiating joy.”

The timeline on the wedding day itself was equally tight. “Since we’ve worked together for so long, she knew we could do it in about an hour. Hairstylist Saurav Roy was also someone she had worked with before.”

Despite the planning, time remained a constraint. “There was an event the previous evening, so she hadn’t slept enough. She came in and said, ‘You guys have 40 minutes to get me ready’. But it still took about an hour because of her long, wet hair. Overall, it took around one and a half hours to get fully ready.”

For Tanvi, the emotional weight of the moment became evident only towards the end. “When the whole look came together, that’s when it hit me—she’s actually getting married today. She was so happy, especially while walking down the aisle. You could see she was enjoying the moment—that’s why she glowed the way she did.”

One of the standout choices was Rashmika opting for a saree over a lehenga. “I loved that she chose a saree instead of a lehenga—it was so different. The color and gold jewelry stood out, especially since we’re used to seeing diamonds and jadau.”

Traditional elements also played a key role in shaping the final look. “In Telugu weddings, there’s a specific bindi style that has to be drawn, not stuck. I’ve always struggled to get it centred. Even during shoots earlier, I struggled with using real kumkum instead of stickers. It took some time, but she encouraged me—'Just go for it, you can do it’.”

Even minor imperfections, Tanvi noted, became part of the larger picture. “It wasn’t perfect, but everything else came together beautifully. You don’t notice imperfections in such a perfect moment.”

Another detail that stood out was the inclusion of a black tikka. “She was very clear she wanted a black tikka. Initially we thought it might spoil the look, but it actually looked amazing. It’s mainly for protection from the evil eye. It has to be applied before the ceremony and stays throughout.” The wedding also reflected adherence to traditions from both sides. “Even Vijay Deverakonda followed traditions with alta and red nails.”

Through Tanvi Chemburkar’s account, the wedding emerges as a blend of personal choices, cultural elements, and spontaneous moments—where simplicity and authenticity ultimately defined one of the most widely discussed celebrity ceremonies in recent times.
