Sharvari also acknowledged the legacy of iconic female characters shaped by Imtiaz Ali, referencing performances by Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anushka Sharma. “His women have never been just parts of a story — they are the story,” she said, highlighting how these characters go beyond conventional storytelling.
She elaborated on some of the filmmaker’s most memorable creations, including Geet from Jab We Met, Tara from Tamasha, and Veera from Highway.
