Three days ago, the actor dropped a sun-soaked video from her poolside moment, writing, “Mentally, I’m by the poolside eating carbs in my bikini / Physically, I’m in Bombay learning my lines and finishing my to-do list”
If that isn’t the most accurate description of modern adulting, what is? In the video, Alaya is seen in a bright pink bikini, soaking in the sun and serving effortless confidence. The clip shows her unwinding by the pool, flaunting her chiselled physique and looking completely at ease.

The actor has consistently been vocal about her fitness journey. Last November, she took on the intense 75 Hard challenge and documented the highs and lows of the process. On day 74, just before completing it, she revealed she had been diagnosed with SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth).
Sharing her experience at the time, she said, “It's day 74 of my 75-Hard of the year; I'm at the finish line. But today, instead of showing you guys progress photos, I actually have a personal story to tell you. You guys are probably used to seeing my stomach look a little like this (toned), but for most of this 75-Hard, my stomach has actually looked like this (bloated).”
The honesty struck a chord. Instead of curated perfection, she chose transparency — something that clearly reflects in her current “carbs in bikini” energy. Balance, but make it real.
On the work front, Alaya was last seen on the big screen in 2024’s Srikanth, alongside Rajkummar Rao. While she doesn’t have an immediate theatrical release lined up, she’s gearing up for her OTT debut with Storm, an upcoming Prime Video original backed by Hrithik Roshan under HRX Films.
