ndiaFM had reported earlier that Ameesha was unhappy with her solo song "Janeman Janeman" being cut in the Kaho Na Pyar Hai release. The song was fabulous and Rakesh Roshan felt that it would divert attention from Hrithik. The song had to go. Ameesha went public with this injustice. She said that her solo song would have created an Ameesha wave like the Hrithik wave. Since Rakesh Roshan wanted her only as an adjunct to Hrithik, the song was removed. Sensing the growing media backlash and the inevitable slide in KNPH collection charts, Rakesh Roshan has decided to release the song on 19 May, 2000. This will kill two birds with one stone. It will let Ameesha's steam off and provide some push to the flagging collections of KNPH
