Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday on a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, which aired ahead of the theatrical release of their upcoming film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. The episode featured a light-hearted mix of humour, music, dance and engaging generational banter.
In a promo shared by the makers, Ananya Panday was seen introducing Amitabh Bachchan to popular Gen Z slang, turning the iconic quiz show into an amusing crash course in modern lingo. She explained terms such as “OOTD,” “drip,” and “no cap,” leaving the veteran actor both puzzled and entertained.
At one point, Ananya referred to Bachchan as a “drip,” a term commonly used to describe someone who is stylish and cool. The comment prompted an instant reaction from the megastar, who joked about the word’s traditional meaning. “Drip to me means water falling from the ceiling,” he quipped, drawing laughter from everyone present.
Continuing the playful exchange, Ananya added, “Amitabh Bachchan is the greatest in the world, no cap,” clarifying that the phrase meant “truly” or “no lie,” while expressing her admiration for the host. When Bachchan asked her about her experience on the hot seat, she laughed and said, “Bahut garam lag raha hai. Mujhe pata tha hot seat hoga, par itna hot hoga, yeh nahi socha tha,” joking about how intimidating the chair felt.
Kartik Aaryan also joined in the fun by teaching Bachchan a few popular hand gestures, including the Korean heart sign. The episode further featured a lively dance segment, with Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik and Ananya coming together for an energetic performance of ‘Jumma Chumma’, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
