Priyanka Chopra recently arrived in India and has shared a glimpse of her early morning visit to a temple in Hyderabad, sparking rumours about her involvement in SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s SSMB 29.
On Friday, Priyanka Chopra posted a video on Instagram of her journey to the temple in thick fog at 6 a.m. She followed it with a picture of herself performing aarti at the temple. The actor also shared a photo of herself in a pink suit with a red and white tilak on her forehead, suggesting she visited a Lord Shiva temple.
Earlier, Priyanka Chopra hinted at a “new chapter” when she posted pictures from her visit to the Chilkur Balaji Temple in Telangana. Along with the photos, she wrote, “With the blessings of Shri Balaji, a new chapter begins. May we all find peace in our hearts and prosperity and abundance all around us. God’s grace is infinite. || ॐ नमो नारायणाय || Thank you @upasanakaminenikonidela.”
Reports have been circulating that Priyanka Chopra will star in SS Rajamouli's SSMB29 alongside Mahesh Babu. While Priyanka has not confirmed her role in the film, her recent visit to Hyderabad has fueled these speculations. Many fans took to the comments to wish her the best for the potential project with Rajamouli.
SSMB29 was officially launched in Hyderabad with a pooja ceremony. However, the makers have kept Mahesh Babu's look under wraps, refraining from releasing any pictures from the event.
Priyanka Chopra is also celebrating the success of Anuja, a short film she and Guneet Monga backed, which has been nominated for the Oscars 2025. The film has earned a nomination in the Best Live Action Short Film category, marking a historic achievement for India. It will compete against A Lien, I’m Not a Robot, The Last Ranger, and A Man Who Would Not Remain Silent.
