Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is currently on cloud nine as she recently won the National Award for Best Actress. Amid all the wishes and congratulatory messages coming from fans and peers from the industry, the actress received a special shout-out from her Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani co-star Shabana Azmi.
On Tuesday morning, the veteran actress took to her social media handle and shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the set of the Karan Johar directorial. The duo can be seen flashing their million-dollar smile for the click. Instagramming the post, Azmi wrote, “My lovely lovely @aliaabhatt.”
Shabana further continued, “My cup brimmeth over with pride at how you are on top of your game in every way,” followed by a couple of red-heart emotions. On a closing note, she exclaimed, “Nazar na lage.”

Speaking of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, released in July this year, the film is still running in theatres. Besides Bhatt and Azmi, it also stars Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan. Having said that, it is worth mentioning here that KJo donned the hat of the director after seven years for RARKPK.
On the professional front, Shabana was recently seen in the R Balki film, Ghoomer, whereas Alia made her Hollywood debut in the Gal Gadot starrer Heart of Stone, which was directly released on Netflix.
