Kareena and Karisma Kapoor remember Rajiv Kapoor on his second death anniversary : Bollywood News

On the occasion of the death anniversary of Rajiv Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor shared tributes to him on their respective Instagram stories on Thursday. Two years have gone since Rajiv Kapoor, the youngest son of Raj Kapoor, departed for his heavenly home. The actor suffered a heart arrest and died at the age of 58.

Kareena Kapoor was the first to post. She took to her Instagram stories and posted a youthful photo of her uncle and wrote, “Miss you always Chimpu uncle.” Older sister Karisma also posted a throwback picture on her Instagram Stories, which featured Raj Kapoor and his three sons, Randhir, Rishi, and Rajiv. Sharing the photo, she wrote, “Chimpu uncle you are missed #RajivKapoor.” Armaan Jain, son of Rima Kapoor, who is Rajiv Kapoor's sister also shared a picture and wrote, “We miss you and love you the most Chimpu Mama.”

Other family members also expressed their love for him on social media. The late brothers' picture was posted by Neetu Kapoor, who lost her spouse Rishi a year before Rajiv. She wrote, “Miss you both a year already.”

Due to a heart arrest, Rajiv Kapoor, who was well-known for his part in Ram Teri Ganga Maili, passed away in 2021. The actor made his Bollywood debut with Ek Jaan Hain Hum in 1983. Toolsidas Junior, Rajiv Kapoor's final film and a posthumous release, also starred Sanjay Dutt, Dalip Tahil, and others. The sports drama, which received raving reviews, told the tale of a former snooker champion who, just before retiring, lost a significant championship. Years later, his son took on the responsibility of assisting his father in realising his ambition.
