Not too long ago, TV buffs woke up to the shocking demise of Malkhan, aka Deepesh Bhan, who is well-known for his comic avatar in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. The actor reportedly fell down while playing cricket earlier this week and is survived by his wife and a child. After his shocking demise, a prayer meet was arranged earlier today which was attended by the star cast of the show including Shubhangi Atre and Rohitash Gaud. Needless to say, they bid a tearful adieu to their co-star.

A video of Shubhangi Atre attending the prayer meet has been going viral on social media as the actress couldn’t hold back her tears while paying her last respects to her co-star. Followed by that, Rohitash Gaud who plays the role of her onscreen husband on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai also attended the prayer meet and was seen getting teary-eyed when he saw the photo of his co-star. Followed by him, Saleem Zaidi, Anup Upadhyay among others were also seen extending their condolences at the prayer meet.

Co-actress of Malkhan and TV actress Charrul Malik also posted an Instagram post from the prayer meet with a beautiful caption in Hindi that loosely translated to, “You parted ways with us in such a way that the season changed - one man's passing away left the whole city deserted.” Here, have a look at the post:
