Jugjugg Jeeyo Trailer Launch: Karan Johar makes fun of reporter questioning about marriage; question, “Mere shaadi ke baare mein nahi poocha?” : Bollywood News

A day ago, the trailer of the much-awaited family entertainer Jugjugg Jeeyo was launched with much fanfare. While the main event was held in Mumbai, the trailer launch was held in three other cities, namely, Ahmedabad, Delhi, and Jaipur. The stars, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Maniesh Paul along with producer Karan Johar and the rest of the team were present at the launch. During the press conference, one of the reporters asked a question about marriage to the married ones and marriage plans of Kiara Advani, to which Karan humorously asked him why he didn’t question the filmmaker about his plans of marriage.

During the press conference, one of the reports asked if Anil Kapoor, who has been married for over 25 years to Sunita Kapoor, can share some tips to the newly married Varun Dhawan. The topic soon diverted to Kiara Advani and a reporter questioning her about her marriage plans. While discussing that, Karan Johar chimed in and asked the reporter why he didn’t question him about his marriage plans. Karan said, “Aur mere shaadi ke baare mein aapne kuch nahi poocha. Main pachaas (50) ka hone jaa raha hoon. Kya lagta hai ki main shaadi ke kaabil nahi hoon. Bhaiya hum bhi shaadi kar sakte hain.” To the same, one of the reporters commented, “Sir aap toh multi-talented hai.” Karan, in turn, replied, “Shaadi koi talent nahi majboori hoti hai.”

Karan Johar, who has not been married yet, has two kids via surrogacy namely, Yash and Roohi. While the filmmaker has never openly admitted to anything related to his sexuality, Karan Johar has discussed about it in his memoir ‘An Unsuitable Boy’.

Speaking of the film Jugjugg Jeeyo, the film will feature Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan as a married couple on the verge of divorce whereas Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are facing their own set of marital woes. The film will release on June 24, 2022.
