Superstar Rajinikanth, who returned to Chennai on Wednesday, took his second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday, May 13. His daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth took to Twitter to share the photo of her dad.
After completing a month-long schedule of his upcoming film, Annaatthe, Rajinikanth returned home. His publicist Riaz Ahmed confirmed that the actor took the second dose of the Covishield vaccine today in Chennai's private hospital.

Rajinikanth is one of the few stars who has received the second dose of the vaccination.
On the work front, directed by Siva, this is the first time that Rajinikanth is collaborating with the filmmaker. Annaatthe also stars Khushbu, Meena, Prakash Raj, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Sathish, and Soori.
