Earlier this month, actor Tamannaah Bhatia was diagnosed with COVID-19. Bollywood Hungama broke the news on October 4. A day after the actress herself confirmed the news on her social media. "Although my team and I have been very disciplined on set, I, unfortunately, succumbed to a mild fever last week. After taking the mandatory tests, I was diagnosed as COVID-19 positive. I admitted myself into a private hospital in Hyderabad to mitigate adverse health outcomes and after being under the care of expert health professionals I am now being discharged. It has been a strenuous week but I feel relatively well. I am optimistic I will recover fully from this health peril which is distressing so many people around the world," she wrote on Instagram.
Speaking to a daily, the actress revealed she got discharged and was in 15-day isolation in Hyderabad itself that ended on Tuesday, October 13. She has returned now to Mumbai but will take a week before she gets back to work. She revealed that she was doing well but one day after pack up she developed a fever. She immediately admitted herself to the hospital after observing some COVID-19 symptoms. The actress said that no one should ignore any symptoms be it fever or fatigue or body ache at any age.
On August 26, Tamannaah Bhatia had tested negative for Covid-19 after her parents tested positive. "My parents were showing mild COVID 19 symptoms over the weekend and as a precautionary measure, everyone at home underwent tests immediately. The results have just come in and, unfortunately, my parents have tested positive. The necessary authorities have been updated on their situation and we are complying with the precautionary guidelines. The rest of the family members, including myself and the staff, have tested negative," she mentioned on social media.
She told the daily that she suffered seeing her parents suffer but when she tested positive too, it affected her more. Her parents flew to Hyderabad but she couldn’t meet them. But, their present gave her strength. Now, she is getting back to her feet and resuming work out routines. Her recent Instagram post suggested that she is working out again. “It's time to take baby steps and get back my stamina. This is an extremely important step after recovering from coronavirus. Keep going but make sure you listen to your body. @yogeshfitness,” she wrote.
On the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia was shooting in Hyderabad for a web series.
