These are the kind of quotes that you must have heard time and time again from everyone. It's called the 'Battle of the Sexes'. Being inspired by this theme, Pritish Nandy Communications came up with a movie called Pyaar Ke Side/ Effects, which starred the most unusual combo of Mallika Sherawat and Rahul Bose, a movie that set in a new trendy genre of filmmaking. The Box Office success of this film not only inspired many such realistic films, but also PNC to come up with Pyaar Ke Side/ Effects book. Though it's a bit late in the day, one can still give it to them, as we firmly believe that 'It's better late than never'.

The book is an amalgamation of movie images and 'Doctored' cartoons by the renowned cartoonist Hemant Morparia, with words by Ishita Pritish Nandy. Since love is in the air, there is a word of caution which also floats in the air with every page that you open, coz' of its 'adult-rated' jokes. The book has in all 13 'chapters' with some blank pages interspread for the readers to fill in their Side/ Effect moments during the 'Movement' called 'Pyaar'. To add a bit of spice to the already spiced up book, we decided to start the slideshow with an apt proverb, dedicated to…what else! Pyaar Ke Side/ Effects, Bollywood Hungama isshtyle!

To talk about the book, firstly, one need sto understand as to what does a 'normal' Indian girl dream of? Well, if you do not know, then, she dreams of an 'Ek Sundar Ghar, Ek Loving Husband, Changu Mangu, Saas Sasur Aur Tommy', which is exactly what decodes into the Nightmare of the guy, which is exactly what forms the cover of this 'Fun-tastic' book. Mallika's 'ooh-so-inviting' look will surely serve as oxygen to every dying person. And Rahul's dreaded look will definitely have the patient go hop, skip and jump into a comma. What to do, such is the dilemma called Pyaar!
