Prernaa Aroraa and Arjun N Kapoor of ‘Kriarj Entertainment’ in a Bollywood Hungama exclusive interview with Faridoon Shahryar share their thoughts about one of their most keenly anticipated film Fanney Khan which is in the news because of the casting of Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The duo share their thoughts on the film.

You are having an interesting film with an equally great cast in Fanney Khan. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor have worked together in the past. Tell us something more about your film.

Prernaa Arora: I had a huge desire to work with Anil Kapoor. He is a powerhouse. Every producer wants to work with him. Besides being one of the finest actors, he is the hero of the masses. So, working with Anil Kapoor was one of the drives that we had. But, meanwhile, we did understand that Rakesh wanted to produce a film. We met him and the collaboration happened with Fanney Khan. It’s a beautiful story that comes straight from the heart. He was very excited about the film. We are very fortunate that we have Aishwarya Rai Bachchan on board as the film’s leading lady.

Arjun N Kapoor: Be it Anil Kapoor or Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, they are not opposite each other as such, but, they have powerful roles. Fanney Khan is a very emotional story that needs to be told.

Is it based on a Finnish film?

Arjun N Kapoor: Yes, it’s about a father-daughter relationship.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has a mad fan following and her fans keep a tab on everything that she does. They are very keen to know what she's doing next as an actor. What exactly is she playing in the film?

Arjun N Kapoor: You say that she has got a mad fan following and something like that will also happen in the film.

Prerenaa: We will reveal everything in time. We are just preparing things creatively now.

And where will the shooting be?

Prernaa: In Mumbai. We’ll be shooting around the months of August- September.
