Probably one of the first actors to openly speak about her struggles with depression and mental health in 2015 in an interview, Deepika Padukone paved way for other actors to go vocal on their vulnerabilities. The Live Love Laugh Foundation (TLLLF), which she founded in 2015, published its 2018 National Survey Report: How India Perceives Mental Health. While the survey shed light on the statistics of mental health consciousness amongst the Indian population across major cities, Deepika Padukone articulated on the misconception that depression only happens to someone who is successful. She also spoke on agenda of her foundation that believes in focussing on fewer programmes that deliver a larger impact. Consuming everything in moderation was her firm stance on the effect of social media on mental health. Keeping up the monochrome vibe with black pumps, Deepika Padukone went down the minimal accessory way and sported dainty pearl studs. Makeup artist Rosario Belmonte gave Deepika a flawless makeup, accentuated by bold eyebrows, lined eyes, and nude-toned lips while hair stylist Gabriel Georgiou gave her a sleek middle-parted low back ponytail, nailing the crisp look perfectly.
