Salman Khan next to be directed by Remo D’Souza

Salman Remo

While Aamir Khan’s role as the strict yet doting father of his wrestling champion daughters in Dangal gained accolades, yet another Khan who is all set to play a father is Salman Khan. Though the superstar Khan played a hesitant father in Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai in 1998, Salman will now play the role of a father to a thirteen year old daughter for the first time.

The film in question is directed by none other than choreographer turned director Remo D’Souza and Salman Khan also confirmed the development. The superstar recently revealed that the film will be a dance drama. Comparing it to the Step Up franchise, the actor mentioned that he will be a properly trained dancer in the film and will play father to a 13 year old daughter. On the other hand, Remo refused to divulge any details of the film.

From what we hear, Remo had already planned the film but since the director and the actor were busy with other projects, there wasn’t any progress on this film. But the two met during Salman Khan’s birthday and finalized the details of this untitled film.

Salman Khan is busy with Kabir Khan’s Tubelight and Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. And because of these projects in the pipeline, Salman – Remo’s yet to be titled film may go on floors in 2018.
