Contrary to a fresh wave of reports suggesting that KGF star Yash is currently in Mumbai for work related to Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, reliable sources have confirmed that the actor’s visit has nothing to do with the mythological epic. Yash is in the city solely to oversee the post-production of his highly anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups, which is now in its final stages of completion.
In the last few days, fan sightings and speculative social media chatter reignited rumours about Yash meeting the team of Ramayana. However, insiders close to the actor have clarified that these assumptions are incorrect. They state that Yash has been devoting all his attention to Toxic, a film that marks his next major outing after the blockbuster success of KGF: Chapter 2.
A well placed industry insider said, “There have been a lot of unconfirmed reports about Yash being in Mumbai to work on his upcoming film Ramayana. Although it is true that the actor is in Mumbai, he is here to complete the post-production of his other keenly awaited film Toxic. Yash is passionately involved in the movie, about which there is massive excitement Pan-India.”
With Toxic being one of the most awaited films of 2026, fans are eager for updates—and if the current pace of post-production is any indication, major announcements may not be far away. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film also stars Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria in prominent roles, along with Yash.
