Vijay Deverakonda has opened up about his bond with Rashmika Mandanna in a new interview with Filmfare, calling her not just beautiful and talented, but also incredibly hardworking and kind. The Liger star, who has shared screen space with Rashmika in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade, reflected on their on-screen chemistry and hinted at wanting to work with her again.

“I haven’t done enough movies with Rashmika. I should do more,” Vijay said, when asked about his rapport with the actress. “She is a great actress. She is a beautiful woman. So chemistry shouldn’t be a problem.”

Vijay, who is known to be private about his personal life, went on to praise Rashmika’s work ethic and nature. “She is crazy hardworking. She can beat anything with her will and determination. She is too kind and prioritises everyone’s comfort and happiness over hers,” he shared. In a candid moment, Vijay also acknowledged that Rashmika’s greatest strength could also become her weakness. “She needs to find a little balance,” he added, suggesting that the actress sometimes puts others ahead of herself to a fault.

Over the years, Vijay and Rashmika have been at the centre of persistent dating rumours, though neither has officially confirmed the relationship. The duo often refers to each other as close friends, and their camaraderie off-screen has only fuelled speculation about a possible romantic link.

When asked about what kind of woman he finds ideal and whether Rashmika fits that bill, Vijay kept it simple and said, “Any good woman with a good heart fits the bill,”. However, fans were quick to associate it as a nod from the actor, given his earlier praise.

While these fans continue to ship the two stars, what remains certain is Vijay’s admiration for Rashmika’s talent and persona. As for their next collaboration, there’s no official confirmation yet - but going by Vijay’s words, it might only be a matter of time before they reunite on screen. For now, both actors are busy with their respective projects. Vijay is currently gearing up fo the release of Kingdom in July this year while Rashmika has multiple releases like Kubera, Thama, and Pushpa 3 – The Rampage in the pipeline.
