Ustaad Ram Pothineni, Sreeleela starrer Skanda to release on September 28 : Bollywood News

Blockbuster filmmaker Boyapati Sreenu’s much-awaited mass and action entertainer Skanda-The Attacker starring Ustaad Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela, under the popular production house Srinivasaa Silver Screen has finally locked the date for its theatrical arrival. This commercial Pan India film is all set to arrive in cinemas on September 28.

A source close to the film revealed that the makers decided to lock this release date owing to the upcoming holidays, adding, “Skanda will be released on Thursday since releasing during long weekend is always an advantage. Then, there is a holiday on Monday (October 2, Gandhi Jayanthi). Thus, Skanda will capitalize on holidays to get massive openings. What better date can they get for this high-budget entertainer which will also cash in the Dussehra (October 24) holidays too.”

The release date poster sees Ram and Sreeleela in traditional avatar where the actor looks super cool in panchekattu, and the actress looks gorgeous in ghagra choli. The movie has already been receiving eyeballs with the songs, teaser, and trailer receiving love from many.

If reports are to be believed, Skanda is the most expensive movie for Ram and the movie also set a record in pre-release business as well. Apart from Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela, the film also features Saiee Manjrekar, Srikanth, Gouthami, Prince, among others in pivotal roles.

Srinivasaa Chitturi is expected to have mounted the movie on a large scale under Srinivasaa Silver Screen banner. SS Thaman has scored the music, while Santosh Detake has handled the cinematography with Tammiraju as the editor. The movie is presented by Zee Studios South and Pavan Kumar. Skanda will have a Pan India release on September 28 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
