Ram Charan, who is gearing up to visit the famous Sabarimala, decided to visit the dargah during his Ayyappa Deeksha in Kadapa on Tuesday. His gesture of bringing two faiths together has definitely left wife Upasana swell up with pride as she took to social media to share an appreciation post towards her husband.

For the unversed, Ram Charan is observing the popular Ayyappa Deeksha which is a religious observance for 41 days which features several stringent guidelines on food, cleanliness and other aspects of daily life. The actor, in the midst of the same, decided to visit the dargah in Kadappa where he was seen receiving a warm welcome.

The fact that the actor was seen seeking the blessing in a mosque while following the Deeksha dress code of black attire and wearing the ‘Ayyappa maala’ made his wife Upasana proud. She took to Twitter to share a photo of Ram Charan from the dargah and posted in the caption saying, “Faith unites, never divides. For the unversed, Ram Charan decided to visit the dargah in order to keep up his promise he made to musical maestro A R Rahman. It seems that the latter had promised the dargah authorities that he would get Ram Charan as a chief guest to the Kadappa mosque in 2023 and it seems that the RRR actor decided to fulfill his promise.

On the work front, Ram Charan is currently gearing up for the release of Game Changer. The film also stars Kiara Advani as the leading lady and the S Shankar directorial is slated to hit cinemas next year, on January 10. Apart from that, the actor will also be sharing screen space with Janhvi Kapoor for the first time in the untitled RC16.
