Putting all rumours to rest, makers of the Yash starrer highly anticipated film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have confirmed that the film will indeed release in theatres worldwide on March 19, 2026 — exactly as originally announced. The update comes after a wave of speculation across social media hinted at a possible delay, sparking concern among fans eager for Yash’s big-screen return after the blockbuster success of KGF: Chapter 2.

Prominent trade analyst Taran Adarsh cleared the air by reaching out directly to the film’s production team. Taking to social media, he confirmed that there is no change in the release plans. “#Toxic is NOT postponed,” he clarified, stating that the film’s schedule remains on track. According to him, post-production and VFX work began as early as April this year, around the same time Yash commenced shooting for Ramayana in Mumbai. The final stretch of Toxic is currently being filmed in Bangalore, with the team gearing up for an extensive promotional campaign starting January 2026.

Reinforcing the announcement, the film’s production house, KVN Productions, shared a new countdown post on social media, reading, “140 days to go… His Untamed Presence, Is Your Existential Crisis. #ToxicTheMovie releases worldwide on 19-03-2026.” The post instantly went viral, thrilling fans who had been awaiting an official update from the team.

The chosen release date is strategically timed with a major festive frame, coinciding with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and other regional New Year celebrations — followed closely by Eid — creating a massive four-day holiday window for the film’s box office debut.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is a multilingual period gangster drama shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed releases planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The film features a stellar ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, Akshay Oberoi, and Sudev Nair.

Jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic promises to deliver an intense, visually rich cinematic experience — marking Yash’s most ambitious project yet.
