Shruti Haasan slams IndiGo airlines over 4 hour flight delay and lack of communication, airlines responds : Bollywood News

Actor Shruti Haasan recently took to social media to express her frustration after her flight was delayed by four hours with no updates from the airline. She criticized IndiGo for leaving passengers, including herself, stranded at the airport without any communication.

She shared her experience on X, pointing out the ‘chaos’ caused by the delay. She wrote, “Hey I’m not one to normally complain but @IndiGo6E you guys really outdid yourself with the chaos today, we’ve been stranded in the airport with no information for the past four hours - maybe figure a better way for your passengers please? Information, courtesy and clarity.”

The airlines then responded to Shruti’s misery and wrote, “Ms Haasan, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the flight delay. We fully understand how inconvenient extended wait times can be. The delay is due to weather conditions in Mumbai, which is affecting the arrival of the operating aircraft.”

They further added, “We hope you understand that these factors are beyond our control, and we assure you that our airport team is doing their utmost to assist customers and ensure their comfort.”

Shruti isn't the only actor to voice her frustrations with IndiGo. Previously, Divya Dutta criticized the airline for canceling her flight without any prior notice. In a detailed social media post, she shared her dissatisfaction and accused the airline of giving her a "horrendous experience."

On the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in Prabhas' Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire. She has Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam and Chennai Story in the works. Additionally, Shruti is set to star in Dacoit, alongside Adivi Sesh.
