Rashmika Mandanna, who has been on a career high with Pushpa and Animal, is gearing up for another hectic year with multitude of Hindi and South projects in the pipeline. Amid that, however, the actress did not forget to spend quality time with her family and even celebrated the Raksha Bandhan festivities with them, especially with her sister Shiman Mandanna. She even took to the social media platform to give a glimpse of the celebrations to her ardent fans and followers along with an emotional note.

Taking to Instagram, Rashmika Mandanna shared several pictures showcasing her goofy, candid side with her sister Shiman and also penned a note about sisters having each other’s back. For the unversed, Raksha Bandhan aims at celebrating the sibling bond where the brother is reminded of his duty and vow to protect his sister, signifying which the latter ties him a rakhi. However, many sisters’ duo also follow this ceremony with each other, making them each other’s protectors.

Rashmika too opened up about her vow to protect her sister and penned a heartfelt note to her saying, “Dear lil sister, I love you. <3 I hope you grow up to be a beautiful woman, a woman who everyone looks up to and respects and I hope in the process you don’t have to fight too many battles in life and I promise you- I will try and protect you as much as I possibly can but there will be so many things that you will have to go through by yourself and at that time I hope the universe goes a little easier on you.. I hope you are safe and happy in this world.. ?? I hope to all the little girls out there like you the world becomes a happier safer place to live in. ?? I love you, my doll.”

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is currently gearing up for two major releases – the historical drama about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal as the lead as well as the pan Indian Pushpa 2: The Rule with Allu Arjun. Apart from these two, the actress also has Dhanush, Nagarjuna starrer Kubera scheduled to release this year along with Salman Khan starrer Sikandar for release next year.
