Rana’s savage reply and Prabhas’s cheeky comeback send fans into a frenzy ahead of the 10-year re-release of Bahubali: The Epic on October 31, 2025.

Even a decade later, Baahubali continues to dominate headlines—and this time, it’s thanks to a hilarious and unexpected exchange between the film’s stars, Rana Daggubati and Prabhas. What started as a nostalgic post from the official Bahubali handle has now sparked viral fan reactions and renewed excitement for the franchise’s upcoming 10-year celebration.

The film’s official X (formerly Twitter) account posted a throwback question that reignited fan theories and what-if debates: “What if Kattappa didn’t kill Bahubali?” Rana Daggubati, who played the iconic antagonist Bhallaladeva, cheekily responded: “I would have killed him instead.”

But it was Prabhas’s savage comeback that truly broke the internet. Sharing Rana’s post on his Instagram story, the Bahubali actor wrote: “I let it happen Bhalla… for this!” He added a poster of Bahubali: The Conclusion proudly stamped with: “No.1 Blockbuster of Indian Cinema | ₹1000+ Crores Worldwide.”

Fans were quick to celebrate the duo’s online banter, calling it the “content we didn’t know we needed.” Many also lauded Prabhas for his witty nod to the franchise’s unparalleled success.

Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, Baahubali wasn’t just a film—it was a cinematic revolution. Released in two parts (Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion), the saga became a global phenomenon, setting box office records, winning multiple National Awards, and redefining Indian cinema forever.

Now, to mark the 10th anniversary of Baahubali: The Beginning, the makers have announced an epic re-release titled Baahubali: The Epic — a double-feature theatrical event hitting cinemas on October 31, 2025. The immersive cinematic experience will allow fans to relive the full saga as it was meant to be seen — larger than life, on the big screen.

With over Rs. 1000 crores in global collections, the franchise remains India’s biggest blockbuster to date. It also holds the record for the highest-grossing dubbed Hindi film and is still the sixth highest-grossing Telugu film of all time.

As the countdown to Baahubali: The Epic begins, one thing is clear: the legacy of Mahishmati is far from over.
