Ram Charan has added another unique milestone to his growing list of global recognitions — a wax statue at Madame Tussauds London, unveiled alongside his pet dog, Rhyme. The installation marks a first for an Indian celebrity to be featured with their pet at the famed museum, a distinction previously granted only to Queen Elizabeth II.

The unveiling ceremony was held privately in London, attended by Ram Charan’s close family and friends. While the announcement was initially expected to be postponed due to the prevailing tensions in the region, the actor’s family felt it was the right time to go ahead, with normalcy gradually returning.

The statue captures Ram Charan in the black velvet bandhgala he wore at the 2023 Oscars — the same night when “Naatu Naatu” from RRR won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, a historic achievement for Indian cinema. The inclusion of his dog, Rhyme, adds a personal touch, highlighting the actor’s bond with his pet and breaking new ground for how celebrities are represented in such installations.

A particularly emotional moment during the event came when Ram Charan’s father, veteran actor Chiranjeevi, grew visibly moved while witnessing the statue. Speaking at the ceremony, Chiranjeevi expressed his pride and reflected on the significance of the moment for their family. He was joined by Ram Charan’s mother, Surekha, as the family marked what they described as a meaningful personal and professional milestone.

The wax figure will remain on display at Madame Tussauds London until May 19, after which it will be relocated to Madame Tussauds Singapore for public viewing. The statue serves not only as a tribute to Ram Charan’s impact in global cinema but also as a rare recognition of the role pets play in our lives.

The addition of Rhyme in the installation makes this unveiling stand out — blending celebrity culture with a nod to companionship and the personal lives of public figures.
