This Independence Day weekend, PVR INOX — India’s largest and most premium cinema exhibitor — is turning up the heat, quite literally. In collaboration with Hombale Films, the multiplex chain has reimagined its iconic logo with the fire elements from Kantara, creating a striking prelude to one of the most awaited films of 2025, Kantara: Chapter 1, which hits theatres on October 2.
Starting Thursday, August 14, audiences watching Coolie and War 2 across all PVR INOX cinemas will be treated to this fiery spectacle before the film begins. Enabled by state-of-the-art projection systems and digital mastering technology, the animation transforms the brand identity into an immersive storytelling element that reflects the raw power and cultural depth of Kantara. The move is designed to heighten excitement for Kantara: Chapter 1, the much-anticipated follow-up to the 2022 blockbuster, which became a cultural phenomenon for its unique blend of folklore, action, and visual grandeur.
