Actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran, who is celebrating his 41st birthday today, is getting wishes from all around the Indian film industry. On his special day, the makers of his upcoming film Salaar dropped his first look from the film.

Prithviraj is playing a character named Vardharaja Mannaar in the film, and his look is unlike anything we have seen him in before. He is seen sporting a septum ring and a black tilak on his forehead, giving off an overall majestic look.

The look exudes a grim and chaotic appeal with a calm demeanour, with the whole colour tone and his clothes following the colour palette of black and grey.

For the unversed, Salaar is a two-part film directed by Prashant Neel, who is best known for his work on the KGF franchise. The film also stars Prabhas in the lead role. It is slated to release on December 22, 2023. The film will be clashing with Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s first collaboration, Dunki, which also stars Taapsee Pannu.

Speaking of his professional front, Prithviraj is currently filming his directorial venture, L2: Empuraan, in Ladakh. The film is a sequel to his 2019 directorial debut, Lucifer, starring Mohanlal.

Prithviraj is one of the most talented actors in the Indian film industry today. He has starred in several critically acclaimed and commercially successful films in Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi. He is also a successful director and producer.
