Prabhas, known for his pan-India appeal, has been part of several high-profile films including the Baahubali franchise, Adipurush, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, and Kalki 2898 AD. Reflecting on his collaboration with Hombale Films for Salaar, the actor recalled a notable incident from the production company’s earlier days during the shoot of K.G.F.

“It was Prashanth Neel’s first film with the production house and his second project overall. The set caught fire, and the team was already under pressure due to the budget. Vijay (Kiragandur) sir told everyone, ‘Relax, don’t worry about the money — get the product right’,” Prabhas shared. He added that this commitment to quality has remained consistent across Hombale’s projects, including Kantara. “That’s why I want to work with him — because he never compromises with quality,” he said.

Hombale Films has established itself as a prominent production house in Indian cinema with a track record of commercially successful films. Their notable releases include K.G.F: Chapter 1 & 2, Kantara, and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, all of which found wide audiences across regions.

The K.G.F series, directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash, has emerged as one of the most successful film franchises in India, collectively earning an estimated ₹1500 crore at the box office.

Hombale Films has continued to explore diverse storytelling. For instance, Kantara integrated elements of regional folklore and tradition with a visually driven narrative. The studio has been noted for its production scale, technical execution, and focus on storytelling.

Looking ahead, Hombale Films has several upcoming projects in the pipeline, including Kantara: Chapter 1, scheduled for release on October 2, 2025, and Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam. The production house has also recently announced a collaboration with Hrithik Roshan for a future film.
