While the relationship between Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala garnered much eyeballs ever since they made it official through their engagement announcement in August, the couple also tied the knot this year itself in a quintessential Telugu ceremony in Hyderabad. While a glimpse of the same was shared by Chay’s father Nagarjuna, cousin Rana Daggubati, among others, a set of unseen photos and videos from the ceremony have also found their way online.

Among the many, the one that has captured the attention of social media users is the video where Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya are seen indulging in ‘find-the-ring’ game. This customary Indian wedding game sees the bride and groom attempting to find the lost ring from a pot of milk and whoever gets their hands on it first is expected to be the dominant one in the relationship. While many dropped sweet comments, some supporters of Chay’s ex-wife and popular actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu decided to repost the video of the same moment from the Chay-Sam wedding in 2017. Interestingly, while in this video it was Naga Chaitanya who won the game, in the past one it was Samantha who found the ring.

Apart from this, another series of videos that went viral on social media platforms included an emotional moment where Sobhita was seen shedding a tear as Naga Chaitanya tied the mangalsutra. In a photo, the couple’s fun moment was captured as they celebrated the custom of putting mixed rice on each other’s head.

Readers would be aware that in many reports that were published before their marriage, sources had asserted that the couple wanted to keep the ceremonies rooted to their culture and opted for all customary pre-wedding festivities instead of the commercial, contemporary ones. From ‘Mangalsnaanam’ to ‘Pelli Kuthuru’, the couple had several special functions before tying the knot on Wednesday at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
