Last week, fans of Mohanlal were in for a treat when the trailer of the highly-anticipated period drama Malaikottai Vaaliban was unveiled. While the film has been in news for quiet some time, with its release date just around the corner, the makers have decided to extensively promote it. And at a recent conference related to it, Mohanlal couldn't contain his admiration for his co-star and popular comedian Danish Sait and continued to gush about his talents as he described his performance in the film as ‘outstanding’.

Mohanlal described Danish Sait as a ‘fantastic actor’ and went on to express, "The way he has done this film is unbelievable. You watch the film." Adding on his character he said, “When Lijo and I first discussed how his character should be, I said he should be like a hyena. And he has created that hyena. He’s like an animal. The way he transported to that character is unbelievable. And what we discussed came true in the movie also. Watch the film, he’s so handsome but in the film he’s like an animal”.

Danish Sait responded to Mohanlal's praise with a touch of humor, saying, "Can I die and come back?" The off-screen camaraderie between them has definitely raised anticipation among audiences who are eager to see them together onscreen. One of the highlights that has captured fans' attention is Danish Sait's unseen avatar in the trailer. His transformation into a fierce character and his wardrobe along with makeup has definitely garnered eyeballs, adding thrill and suspense. On the other hand, Mohanlal will be essaying the role of a rebel in this action entertainer set against the backdrop of British Raj.

Malaikottai Vaaliban promises an unforgettable cinematic experience as it is all set to release on January 25 in Malayalam as well as dubbed versions in other languages.
