On Friday, June 28, Prime Video announced the streaming premiere of the Telugu crime-thriller Satyabhama. Showcasing a powerful performance by Kajal Aggarwal, along with Naveen Chandra, Prakash Raj, Nagineedu, and Harsha Vardhan playing pivotal roles, Satyabhama is a Telugu crime-thriller that deftly blends criminal investigation, individual struggles, and the unbreakable spirit of a woman determined to bring about change.

About Satyabhama

Set against the backdrop of Hyderabad, the film focuses on a diligent police officer, ACP Satyabhama (played by Kajal Aggarwal), who investigates the murder of a young girl. While digging deeper into the case and uncovering clues in the investigation, she is dragged into a web of secrets and unspoken ties that test her resolve while relentlessly pursuing the truth.

Kajal Aggarwal opened up about Satyabhama

In an interview with The Hindu, Kajal had opened about her character in the film and had said, “Satyabhama is feisty and can use law and order to help the oppressed, but we also see how she gets affected by everything that happens around her. It was emotionally and physically a tough film to do.”

Further speaking about the details of the film, with music composed by Sricharan Pakala, the cinematography was handled by Vishnu Besi, and the editing was completed by Peekay (Kodati Pavan Kalyan). Directed by Suman Chikkala the film was produced by Sashi Kiran Tikka, Bobby Tikka, and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly under the banner of Aurum Arts.
